Este curso explora diversas teorías que buscan contestar preguntas asociadas a los
problemas del desarrollo ¿Por qué algunos países son pobres y otros ricos? ¿Por qué
algunos países son pobres, represivos y violentos? ¿Por qué algunos de ellos presentan
crecimiento económico acompañado de disminuciones en las libertades individuales?
¿Cuál es el papel del Estado y la economía en estas dinámicas?
