The European Review of Latin American and Caribbean Studies includes articles within the fields of the social sciences (anthropology, archaeology, demography, ecology, economy, geography, political science, sociology) and history. Preference is given to concise articles that reflect substantial empirical research and/or that are theoretically innovative with respect to major debates within these various fields or to problems of historical interpretation.
