Job Description
The Software Engineer will be involved in the
design, development and maintenance of the
CTA observatory analysis framework.
Conditions: 1 Year with potential extensions,
27k Euros/year Gross, located at the UCM
Campus (Madrid), flexible working time.
Necessary Skills

Degree in Science or Engineering
-
Experience or good knowledge of
Object Oriented Programming.

Good knowledge of some high level
language: Java, C++.

Familiarity with script languages: bash,
tcsh, python, Perl.
Desired Skills

System Administration skills. (Linux
Systems)

Experience in distributed computing:
GRID, CLOUD…

Interest in Astrophysics.

Understanding of web applications
(PHP, java web frameworks)

Knowledge of Relational Databases.
(MySQL)
