Roberto Villao Instructions: Students will write one general and three specific objectives for a project that must be finished by the end of the school year. The task must contain the research problem, hypothesis, variables (dependent, independent, controlled) and objectives (one general and three specific). Each part of the task will be developed in class. It must be printed Arial 12 and it will be submitted by the students on August 20. OBJECTIVES: Analyze a research problem in order to recognize dependent, independent and controlled variables within a research project. List the variables of the research problem. Formulate a general objective based on the established variables for a research project responding to three basic questions: What? How? For what? Produce three specific objectives that will lead to accomplish the general one. The objectives must contain the same three basic questions. EVALUATION CRITERIONS: GENERAL AND SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES Criterion A: Knowing and understanding i. ii. Use terminology in context. Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of subject specific content and concepts through developed descriptions, explanations and examples.
