El Núcleo del Grupo Nominal puede estar posmodificado por:
1) Una FRASE PREPOSICIONAL, constituída por una PREPOSICION (on, in, behind,
etc.), + un grupito nominal, Este grupito nominal, a la derecha de la preposición, a su vez
contiene un sustantivo como núcleo el cual a su vez puede contener uno o más premodificadores
y posmodificadores. La Frase Preposicional posmodifica al sustantivo, ubicándolo en el
espacio o en el tiempo. ej: the number of protons in the nucleus. Para poder ubicar una Frase
Preposicional es conveniente conocer las Preposiciones. Al final de este apunte se da una lista
alfabética de Preposiciones en grupos preposicionales.
