Parts of the body
Your body has got three main parts:
the head, the trunk and the limbs.
The limbs are arms and legs.

Joints:
Your bones are connected by
joints. Joints help you to bend and

1. Mouth: food enters our body
through our mouth, oesophagus,
and finally stomach, where it is
mixed the food with the gastric
juice.
Intestine: a long tube. It has two
parts:
- Small intestine: absorbs the
nutritional substances.
- Large intestine: It takes the bad
substances from our body. They
are called faeces.
Anus: it is at the end of the large
intestine. Faeces are eliminated
through the anus.

RESPIRATORY SYSTEM
The Respiratory System
1.Air enters through our nose
and mouth. It goes through
nostrils, the trachea and
bronchial tubes and into the
lungs. Finally, oxygen goes
into our blood.
There are two movements
that go along with breathing:
1. Inhalation: our lungs fill
with air.
2. Exhaling: air leaves our
lungs, giving off carbon
dioxide.
