PUBLICACIONES CIENTÍFICAS
Formación nanopiramidal de aluminio con resonancias plasmónicas
de longitud de onda ultravioleta-visible-infrarrojo para la rápida
detección de antígenos de carbohidratos
Publicada en ScienceDirect - Publicaciones Científicas sobre Nano-TICs, 15/05/2016
Publication date: 15 May 2016. Source: Biosensors and Bioelectronics, Volume 79
Author(s): Wanbo Li, Yongcai Qiu, Li Zhang, Lelun Jiang, Zhangkai Zhou, Huanjun
Chen, Jianhua Zhou Aluminum-based localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR)
holds attractive properties include low cost, high natural abundance, and ease of
processing by a wide variety of methods including complementary metal oxide
semiconductor process, making itself having an edge over conventional ones
induced by noble metal. However, the inherent drawbacks of plasmonic mode limited
on UV–green wavelength, low refractive index sensitivity, as well as heavy-shapedependence greatly prevent aluminum plasmonics from real-life biosensing.

Nanoestructuras jerárquicas esponjosas para el excelente
rendimiento de sensores de etanol

Yuchao Xia, Chuansheng Wu, Ningyu Zhao, He Zhang Hierarchical nanostructures
assembled from one dimensional (1D) -MoO3 have been realized with the assistance
of surfactants, but rare with metal salts. In this paper, we report the synthesis of
porous -MoO3 sponges with nanorods as building blocks in a hydrothermal condition
that contains CrCl3·6H2O. It is believed that chromic saltaffects the growth manner
of -MoO3, resulting in hierarchical nanostructures.

Itinerario de biodetección y fotónica con métodos nano-ópticos
avanzados
Publicada en IOPscience - Publicaciones Científicas sobre Nano-Electrónica, 09/05/2016
This roadmap, through the contributions of ten groups worldwide, contains different techniques, methods and materials
devoted to sensing in nanomedicine. Optics is used in different ways in the detection schemes. Raman, fluorescence and
infrared spectroscopies, plasmonics, second harmonic generation and optical tweezers are all used in applications from
single molecule detection (both in highly diluted and in highly concentrated solutions) to single cell manipulation. In
general, each optical scheme, through device miniaturization and electromagnetic field localization, exploits an intrinsic
optical enhancement mechanism in order to increase the sensitivity and selectivity of the device with respect to the
complex molecular construct.

Diseño de interfaz bioelectroquímica usando nanomateriales
funcionales y técnica de microchip hacia biosensores
electroquímicos portátiles y sensibles
Publicada en ScienceDirect - Publicaciones Científicas sobre Nano-TICs, 15/02/2016
Publication date: 15 February 2016. Source: Biosensors and Bioelectronics, Volume
76 Author(s): Xiaofang Jia, Shaojun Dong, Erkang Wang Electrochemical biosensors
have played active roles at the forefront of bioanalysis because they have the
potential to achieve sensitive, specific and low-cost detection of biomolecules and
many others. Engineering the electrochemical sensing interface with functional
nanomaterials leads to novel electrochemical biosensors with improved
performances in terms of sensitivity, selectivity, stability and simplicity. Functional
nanomaterials possess good conductivity, catalytic activity, biocompatibility and high
surface area. Coupled with bio-recognition elements, these features can amplify
signal transduction and biorecognition events, resulting in highly sensitive
biosensing.

Author(s): Ivana Radisavljevi, Nikola Novakovi, Branko Matovi, Novica Paunovi,
Mirjana Medi, Nenad Bundaleski, Velibor Andri, Orlando M.N.D. Teodoro X-ray
absorption (XANES, EXAFS, XMCD) and photoelectron (XPS) spectroscopic
techniques were employed to study local structural, electronic and magnetic
properties of Zn0.95Co0.5O nanopowders. The substitutional Co2+ ions are
incorporated in ZnO lattice at regular Zn sites and the sample is characterized by
high structural order. There was no sign of ferromagnetic ordering of Co magnetic
moments and the sample is in paramagnetic state at all temperatures down to 5K.

Síntesis fácil de nanocables mesoporosos de Co3O4
Publicada en ScienceDirect - Publicaciones Científicas sobre Nano-TICs, 15/01/2016
Publication date: 15 January 2016 Source: Materials Letters, Volume 163 Author(s):
Huiyu Chen, Yanzhong Wang, Chunju Xu Mesoporous Co3O4 nanowires with length
up to 5–10m were fabricated by a facile solution synthetic process and combined
with subsequent calcination of the precursor at atmospheric pressure. The samples
were characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM, and Raman techniques. It was found that
the amount of initial cobalt salt played an important role in the formation of porous
Co3O4 nanowires. The current method is quite simple and environment friendly, and
can be extended to the synthesis of other porous nanomaterials. Due to the high
specific area and mesoporous structure, these porous Co3O4 nanowires are
expected to have potential applications in supercapacitors and lithium-ion battery
with promising electrochemical performance. Graphical abstract

Método para formar transistores semiconductores de nanocables
Publicada en Espacenet - Patentes sobre Nano-TICs, 27/04/2016
A method for forming a semiconductor device includes forming a semiconductor
substrate having at least one fin structure on an insulator on a substrate. The fin
structure includes a semiconductor layer overlying a sacrificial layer. The method
also includes forming a patterned dummy gate on the substrate, forming a first
spacer on both sides of the dummy gate, and using the dummy gate and the first
spacer as a mask to remove a portion of the semiconductor layer and the sacrificial
layer. Then the sacrificial layer is etched to form recessed regions on both sides of
the sacrificial layer, and a second spacer is formed to cover both sides of the
sacrificial layer and expose both sides of the semiconductor layer. The method also
includes performing epitaxial growth on both sides of the semiconductor layer to form
source and drain regions.
