Before starting her own company in 1997 and embarking on a new career as a motivational
speaker, leadership trainer, and mentor, Consuelo [kone-sway-low) Castillo [kaus- stee- yo]
Kickbusch [kick-bush] retired from an illustrious military career with the rank of Lieutenant
Colonel in the U.S. Army.
Today, Consuelo travels throughout the United States and abroad speaking to educators,
students, parents, corporations, government agencies, and non-profit organizations.
She has come a long way from the poor barrio in Laredo, Texas she grew up in.
Now the president of a successful and growing business – Educational Achievement Services,
Inc. – she has an intense desire to share with others what she has learned along the way.
Reaching audiences ranging from students in the barrios and the poorest inner cities of the
nation to corporate executives, politicians, educators, and just plain folks, consuelo provides
purpose, hope, and inspiration to all who hear her message. “in whatever you do in life,” she
says, “the most important thing is to have a mission and a passion for what you do.”

Consuelo Castillo Kickbusch, Teniente Coronel retirada de una ilustre carrera militar en el ejército
de los Estados Unidos, es actualmente una reconocida oradora motivacional y entrenadora de
líderes que viaja por todo el país y fuera de él, hablando y motivando a educadores, estudiantes,
padres de familia, corporaciones, agencias de gobierno y otras organizaciones.
Consuelo procede de uno de los barrios pobres de Laredo, Texas donde creció y enfrentó
múltiples dificultades hasta llegar a ser ahora presidenta de un exitoso negocio en crecimiento,
por lo que desea compartir con todos nosotros lo que ha aprendido a través de su camino y
cómo ha logrado alcanzar el lugar en el que actualmente se encuentra. A través de su charla,
Consuelo ofrece un propósito, así como esperanza e inspiración a todos los que la escuchan su
mensaje.
Les invitamos a acompañarnos a escuchar a esta gran oradora este viernes 1 de Mayo a las
7:00 p.m., en el Centro Cultural México Americano Emma S. Barrientos, dentro de los eventos
de clausura de nuestro programa Academia Cuauhtli que iniciarán a partir de las 6 de la tarde.
Habrá igualmente una segunda oportunidad de escucharla durante la ceremonia de graduación de Academia Cuauhtli, el
sábado 2 de Mayo a las 11:00 a.m. Los eventos del sábado inician a partir de las 9:00 a.m.
Será una sesión extraordinaria, no se la pueden perder!
