Un edificio
amable y humano
pero a la vez
funcional,
eficiente y sostenible
El proyecto diseñado en asociación con Rogers Stirk Harbour and Partners ha
sido el ganador en un concurso de diseño internacional. Se ha buscado crear
un edificio muy humano y amable donde el usuario se oriente fácilmente y la
experiencia sea placentera. El edificio se concibe como un espacio agradable y
de encuentro para los visitantes y trabajadores del Campus de la Justicia, y se
aleja de la imagen tradicionalmente asociada a este tipo de equipamientos. El
edificio de Usos Múltiples está pensado para albergar tres usos diferentes; zona
comercial, restauración y aparcamientos.
Se trata de un edificio consecuente con los objetivos del planeamiento,
que responde a las demandas arquitectónicas y estéticas del entorno y se
erige como la puerta principal de entrada al recinto. La propuesta recupera
la importancia visual de un espacio generalmente asociado a experiencias
incómodas, y dedicado a pasar el menor tiempo posible. Un proyecto muy
funcional para lograr la máxima eficiencia del aparcamiento que considera
a la vez la calidad del espacio y visualización de las zonas comerciales y los
restaurantes a través de la optimización de los flujos peatonales.
The project designed in JV with Rogers Stirk Harbour
and Partners obtained the first prize in the international
competition. The project seeks to develop a user-friendly
and human building, where the user is able to find his
way easily, also providing a pleasant experience. The
building is conceived as an enjoyable space and a
meeting point for the visitors and workers at the Justice
Campus in Madrid. It grows apart from the traditional
and preconceived ideas for this kind of facilities. The
Multipurpose building is design to house three different
programs; namely, commercial area, restaurants and a
car park.
It is a building consistent with the Master Plan principles.
It responds to the architectural and aesthetic demands
of the surroundings and places itself as the main
entrance to the precinct. This proposal retrieves the
visual significance of a space that is generally associated
to uncomfortable experiences, and committed to
spend in it as little time as possible. A highly functional
project to achieve the maximum efficiency in the car
park, considering the space quality at the same time,
overlooking the commercial area and the restaurants, by
means of the optimization of the pedestrian fluxes.
El proyecto será el tercero de los 14 edificios que formarán el Campus de la
Justicia de Madrid, el más grande de Europa, que albergará los 19 órganos
judiciales ahora dispersos por la capital. El edificio consta de cinco plantas
sobre rasante y tres bajo rasante; 1.175 plazas de aparcamiento, un área de
43.000 m² de los cuales 1.500 m² serán destinados a uso comercial y 500 m² a
restauración.
The project will be the third to be develop among the
fourteen buildings in the Justice Campus, the largest
of its kind in Europe. The Campus shall host nineteen
courts, currently dispersed all over the city of Madrid. The
building consists of five floors above ground level and
three below. It contains 1.175 parking spaces; a 43.000
m² area, of which 1.500 m² will be used for commercial
use and 500 m² for restaurants.
La propuesta de diseño para el P7 incorpora numerosos elementos reciclados o
de desecho que van desde la utilización de árido reciclado para el hormigón de
la estructura, vidrio reciclado, hasta la incorporación de mobiliarios y accesorios
fabricados con plásticos reciclados.
The proposal for the P7 incorporates numerous recycled
or waste materials, ranging from recycled aggregate for
the concrete of the structure, recycled glass, to the use of
furniture and fittings made of recycled plastics.
