Genes & Human Reproduction
• DNA- El ácidodesoxirribonucleico (ADN)- la molécula
que es la base de la herencia.
Gene- is a section of the DNA. Gen una sucesión de las
bases de nucleótido que proporciona las
instrucciones genéticas para una proteína
específica.
• For each pair of chromosomes, the genes for a
trait (i.e. - eye color or nose shape) are in the
same locations, and called alleles.
• Alelo- La variación de un gen que determina
diferente caracteristicas de la herencia
• Genotype• Genotipo- Se refiere a la dotación genética de
un individuo.

• Phenotype- is the outward expression of the
genotype-environment interactions; includes
behaviors; the characteristic of a trait that is
observable in a person;
