Todas estas opciones multiplican la difusión del libro y conforman
un nuevo universo en el que unos se pierden y otros encuentran su
Vía Láctea. No es cuestión de tamaños, ni de inversiones, es cuestión
de buscar nuevos puntos de luz que abran rutas desconocidas y den
paso a nuevas vías por las que el libro siga caminando hacia el lector,
esté donde esté.

El libro digital y sus nuevos
modelos de negocio

demanda o crowdfunding son nuevos
negocios que surgen en torno al libro
electrónico. M.B.
Innovar, emprender, arriesgar son verbos que han estado siempre
incluidos en el vocabulario de cualquier editor de éxito y ahora más
que nunca podemos dar sentido a estas acciones porque, aunque los
tiempos son complicados y la crisis hace pensar dos veces cualquier
nueva iniciativa, durante 2011 se inauguraron decenas de nuevas em­
presas de edición que buscan su hueco y traen nuevas ideas sobre
cómo generar y difundir los libros.
Es verdad que ahora por la Red podemos encontrar herramientas
que nos ayudan, redes sociales que comparten inquietudes y tenden­
cias, informaciones a golpe de click que nos llevan a otros mercados y,
como explicaron recientemente en un seminario organizado por ICEX,

siempre es buena la experiencia de los que ya han iniciado el camino
para que nos prevengan de los baches y nuestro paso sea certero.
Con este espíritu se estrenan en los dos puntos claves de la edi­
ción española los Digital Days, una nueva acción de formación lanzada

na seminarios especializados en todos estos nuevos conceptos de la
edición con coaching online personalizado para que todas las dudas y
conflictos que puedan surgir tras los encuentros personales puedan
resolverse vía digital.
Lo importante es renovarse y que no pase el tren de la moderniza­
ción a nuestro lado y nos deje indiferentes.
