Contenidos del programa / Course contents
Unidad 1: Problemas sociales de la movilidad y la accesibilidad urbanas. Distinción
entre movilidad social, movilidad residencial y movilidad física (transporte). Se
analizarán los colectivos sociales involucrados, los medios dominantes de transporte
y desplazamiento, las dinámicas de cambio residencial, y las dimensiones
medioambientales, urbanas y sociales de los procesos de movilidad y accesibilidad.
Unidad 2: Modalidades alternativas de movilidad y accesibilidad sostenibles. Se
analizarán experiencias, ventajas y desventajas de las formas alternativas de
transporte y desplazamiento espacial desde el punto de vista sociológico y
medioambiental.
Unit 1: Social problems of urban mobility and accessibility. Distinction between
social mobility, housing mobility and physical mobility (transport). Involved social
groups, dominant modes of transport and displacement, dynamics of residential
change, and urban-social dimensions of the processes of mobility and accessibility,
will be analysed.
Unit 2: Alternative modes of sustainable mobility and accessibility. From a
sociological and environmental point of view, special attention will be paid to the
experiences, advantages and disadvantages coming from alternative modes of
transport and spatial move.

Métodos docentes / Teaching methodology
Horas totales estimadas de trabajo del estudiante: 50
Docencia teórica: 0,16 ECTS (4 horas total). Presentación de los contenidos
conceptuales y procedimentales por parte del profesor. Competencias: A2, A7, A9,
C3, C4, C6, C7, T1 y T5.
Prácticas presenciales: 0,44 ECTS (11 horas total). Se realizarán cuatro tipos de
actividades:
 Presentación, mediante ejercicios prácticos, de los métodos y técnicas
aplicables a la temática considerada (enseñanza-aprendizaje experimental).
 Trabajo de campo de un día a través de distintas rutas por la ciudad
(enseñanza-aprendizaje experiencial).
 Visita técnica con presencia de expertos y/o actores urbanos (enseñanzaaprendizaje participativo) para conocer sus puntos de vista sobre los temas
considerados, realizadas en sus lugares de trabajo (estudios de urbanismo,
agencias urbanas, ayuntamientos, etc.).
 Seminario final destinado a la exposición por los estudiantes de un informe
con las conclusiones alcanzadas en el trabajo en grupo asignado (enseñanzaaprendizaje participativo y cooperativo).

Trabajo del estudiante no presencial: 1,32 ECTS (33 horas total):
 Lectura y análisis crítico de textos y documentación especializada que
servirán de base para la participación en las actividades programadas.
 Informe final en equipo sobre los contenidos considerados a lo largo del
desarrollo de la asignatura, haciendo hincapié en un aspecto que se les
asigne. Los estudiantes deberán completar el trabajo mediante la consulta de
otras fuentes de información disponibles sobre el aspecto asignado.

Tutorías obligatorias presenciales: 0,08 ECTS (2 horas total). Apoyo para la
resolución individual y/o en grupo de dudas teórico-conceptuales e instrumentales.
Atención y seguimiento personalizado. Competencias: A7, B7, C3, C6 y C7.
Total estimated hours of work for the student: 50
Theory teaching: 0.16 ECTS (total of 4 hours). Presentation of the conceptual and
procedural contents by the professor. Skills: A2, A7, A9, C3, C4, C6, C7, T1 and T5.
Classroom based practical exercises: 0.44 ECTS (total of 11 hours). Four types of
activities are carried out:
 Presentation, through practical exercises, of the applicable methods and
techniques to the considered topics (experimental teaching-learning).

Final seminar aimed at the students presenting their report on the conclusions
reached in the teamwork (participative and cooperative teaching-learning).

Non-classroom based student work: 1.32 ECTS (total of 33 hours):
 Study and critical analysis of text and specialised documentation which will
serve as a base for participation in the programmed practical activities.
 Final team work report on the questions raise through the development of the
course. They must highlight an aspect that will be assigned. Students have to
complete the work using other sources of information available on the subject
proposed.

Classroom based compulsory tutorials: 0.08 ECTS (total of 2 hours). Support for
