Is there such a thing as a Norwegian social science perspective on Latin America? Invited by the Latin
American Council of Social Sciences, twelve Norway-based scholars have contributed to shed light
on Norwegian research and writing on the region from before social sciences were really established in
Norway, and up to our days. The book is edited by Benedicte Bull, University of Oslo. An English
version will hopefully be out in 2016. See the book at CLACSO’s web site (pdf).

Invitados por el Consejo Latinoamericano de Ciencias Sociales, doce académicos basados en
Noruega han contribuido a arrojar luz sobre la investigación y los textos de Noruega sobre la región
desde antes de realmente establecerse las ciencias sociales en Noruega, y hasta nuestros días. El libro
está editado por Benedicte Bull, Universidad de Oslo. Se espera tener una versión en inglés en el
