The Scientific Research Center of Cuatro Ciénegas (CICC http://desertfishes.org/cuatroc/estacion/CICCC.html) invites you to the
“Second Meeting of Researchers” on August 16-19, 2007, in Cuatro
Ciénegas, Coahuila, México. We expect that this meeting will surpass
the very successful first one (2004 http://desertfishes.org/cuatroc/meeting/junta/2004/index.html) in both
number and diversity of participants and value to the research and
management communities in this very special place.
El Centro de Investigaciones Científicas de Cuatro Ciénegas (CICC http://desertfishes.org/cuatroc/estacion/CICCC.html) invita al
“Segundo Congreso de Investigadores” que se llevará a cabo del 16 al
19 de agosto de 2007, en Cuatro Ciénegas, Coahuila, México.
Anticipamos que supere el gran éxito de la primera junta (2004 http://desertfishes.org/cuatroc/meeting/junta/2004/index.html) en
cuanto a ambos número y diversidad de asistentes y valor a las
comunidades de investigación y manejo en este lugar tan especial.
OBJECTIVES
OBJETIVOS
1. Bring together researchers from diverse countries and specialties,
whose academic interests are to study the distinct aspects of
biodiversity and culture of the region.
1. Reunir investigadores de diversos países y especialidades, cuyos
intereses académicos, sean los de estudiar los distintos aspectos de la
biodiversidad, sociales y culturales de la región.
2. Share with the community the advances and results of the research
that has developed in the specific fields of science.
2. Dar a conocer a la comunidad los avances y resultados de las
investigaciones que se desarrollan en el área en los distintos campos
de la ciencia
3. Create proposals that optimize, drive, and distribute the scientific
research and the environmental issues in the area.
4. Increase academic dialogue about scientific research in the area.
We consider the communication among researchers in diverse areas a
benefit that will strengthen all research.
3. Crear propuestas que optimicen, impulsen y difundan la
investigación científica y la problemática ambiental de esta zona.
4. Queremos estrechar el dialogo académico en torno a la
investigación científica en el área. Consideramos que el acercamiento
entre los diversos investigadores fortalece las investigaciones mismas.
