HAZARD STATEMENTS: Flammable liquid and vapor. Causes skin irritation. May
cause an allergic skin reaction. Causes serious eye irritation. May be harmful if
swallowed or if inhaled. Very toxic to aquatic life. Very toxic to aquatic life with long
lasting effects.
PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS: Prevention: Keep away from heat/sparks/open
flames/hot surfaces. No smoking. Keep container tightly closed. Ground/bond container
and receiving equipment. Use explosion-proof electrical/ventilating/lighting equipment.
Use only non-sparking tools. Take precautionary measures against static discharge.
Avoid breathing mist or vapor. Wash thoroughly after handling. Contaminated work
clothing must not be allowed out of the workplace. Do not take internally. Avoid release
to the environment. Wear protective gloves/eye protection/face protection.
RESPONSE: First Aid: If on skin (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated
clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. If in eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for
several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If
skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention. If eye irritation persists:
Get medical advice/attention. IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce
vomiting. Immediately call a poison center/doctor. Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Call a
physician if symptoms develop or persist. Take off contaminated clothing and wash
before reuse. In case of fire: Use appropriate media to extinguish. Collect spillage.
STORAGE: Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep cool.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: Reports have associated repeated and prolonged
occupational overexposure to solvents with permanent brain and nervous system
damage (sometimes referred to as Solvent or Painters’ Syndrome). Use With Adequate
Ventilation. Avoid breathing vapors or spray mist. Open windows and doors, use
exhaust fans or other means to insure fresh air entry during application and drying.
NOTE: Soiled rags should be dampened with water before disposal or discarded in
special containers for flammable material.

VAPORES INFLAMABLES
LAS INDICACIONES DE PELIGRO: Líquidos y vapores inflamables. Causa irritación de la piel.
Puede provocar una reacción alérgica en la piel. Causas irritación ocular grave. Puede ser
nocivo en caso de ingestión o inhalación. Muy tóxico para los organismos acuáticos. Muy tóxico
para los organismos acuáticos, con efectos nocivos duraderos.
INDICACIÓN DE PRECAUCIÓN: La Prevención: Mantener alejado de/chispas/llamas al
descubierto/superficies calientes. No Fumar. Mantenga el recipiente herméticamente cerrado.
Tierra/enlace y equipos de recepción. Utilice ventilación/equipos eléctricos/iluminación a prueba
de explosiones. Utilice únicamente herramientas que no produzcan chispas. Tomar medidas
contra las descargas estáticas. Evite respirar la niebla o vapor. Lávese completamente después
del manejo. Prendas de trabajo contaminadas no se debe permitir salir del lugar de trabajo. No
se debe ingerir. Evitar su liberación al medio ambiente. Use guantes de protección/gafas de
protección/la cara.
RESPUESTA: Primeros auxilios: Sí en la piel (o el pelo): Quítese inmediatamente las
prendas contaminadas. Aclarar la piel con agua/ducharse. Si en los ojos: Aclarar
cuidadosamente con agua durante varios minutos. Quitar las lentes de contacto, si lleva y fácil
de hacer. Proseguir con el lavado. En caso de irritación o erupción cutánea: Consultar a un
médico/atención. Si persiste la irritación ocular: Consultar a un médico/atención. En caso de
ingestión: Enjuagar la boca. NO provocar el vómito. Llame inmediatamente a un centro de
envenenamiento/médico. Inhalación: Sacar al aire libre. Llame a un médico si los síntomas
aparecen o persisten. Quítese la ropa contaminada y lávela antes de volverla a usar. En caso
de incendio: Utilizar los medios adecuados para extinguir. Recoger el vertido.
ALMACENAMIENTO: Almacenar en un lugar bien ventilado. Mantener en lugar fresco.
INFORMACIÓN COMPLEMENTARIA: Los informes han asociado la sobreexposición repetida
y prolongada a los solventes con daños permanentes al cerebro y sistema nervioso (a veces
conocido como solvente o Síndrome de Pintores). Usar con ventilación adecuada. Evite respirar
los vapores o la neblina del pulverizado. Abrir ventanas y puertas, utilice ventiladores u otros
medios para asegurar la entrada de aire fresco durante la aplicación y secado. NOTA: Sucios
trapos deben ser humedecidos con agua antes de ser desechados o descartados en
contenedores especiales para material inflamable.
