Another Bible study will be offered starting Thursday July 14 to Aug 18, 2011 using "A Biblical Walk through the Mass" study
series. This five-week study will be held mornings on Thursdays from 10 to 11:30 after 9:00 a.m. Mass in classroom #6.
The coordinator will be Elena Eich and her contact info is listed on our website along with registration forms. There are forms
available in the front of the church as well. Please fill them in and return them to the rectory.

estado latiendo desde la quinta semana. Ha estado vivo desde su concepción.

Una Sola Iglesia
Cuando los protestantes nos visitan y nos
piden dejar la Iglesia Católica, solo necesitamos recordar una cosa. Esto es que Cristo
solo fundo una iglesia y la iglesia que fundo
es la Iglesia Católica. Claro que hemos tenido
problemas en nuestra iglesia pero esto es por
el error de nosotros los hombres y no porque
las enseñanzas de Cristo eran erróneas. La Iglesia Católica enseña lo que Cristo le enseño a los apóstoles.
Primero Pedro y los apóstoles enseñaron al pueblo lo que Jesús
les enseño. Al pasar de los años, se escribieron estas enseñanzas. Por el año 400 se juntaron estos escritos y el Papa y los
obispos formaron la biblia que ahora tenemos. Por esta razón,
ninguno tiene mejor conocimiento del significado de las santas
escrituras que los católicos. Los protestantes no se organizaron
hasta el año 1517 y se separaron por las enseñanzas de Martin
Lutero. Los Pentecostales, por ejemplo, no se formaron hasta el
año 1901. Todas estas sectas cristianas han tomado nuestra
biblia, han hecho sus propias interpretaciones y ahora quieren
enseñarnos otro significado de las enseñanzas de Cristo. Esto es
una locura pues solo los católicos saben la correcta interpretación de las lecturas ya que los apóstoles vivieron con Cristo y
escucharon en persona sus enseñanzas. Después, estas enseñanzas de los apóstoles se fueron pasando a sus sucesores que
son ahora nuestros obispos.
Antes de subir al cielo, Jesús les dio su misión a los apóstoles y
les dio autoridad para predicar su evangelio y defender la iglesia. Esta autoridad se transmite a los nuevos padres y obispos
por la ordenación sacerdotal. Sin embargo hay personas que
por estudiar un poco la biblia se sienten capacitados para formar su propia iglesia. Por esta razón, ahora en nuestro tiempo
existen unas 33,000 sectas cristianas. Todas estas sin sucesión
apostólica y sin la autoridad de Cristo.
¡No se deje engañar! Cristo solo fundo la Iglesia Católica. Esta es
la iglesia que reparte el pan que lleva a la vida eterna.
Programa Católico en el Radio
Hay un nuevo programa en el radio que se llama “En Busca de la
Verdad,” los domingos a las 9:00AM en la estación 104.1 FM.
Si quiere aprender mas de su fe el Padre Raúl les recomienda
que escuchen ese programa.

Michelle Swenson-Aguirre, who has been volunteering her time teaching CCD here for the past 14 years, is leaving
our CCD program. As a small way of thanking her for all the years
she has blessed us by teaching our children about Our Lord, we
are having a SURPRISE party for her on Saturday, July 16th
at 6:00 pm after the 5 o'clock Mass, in the Hall. (We can only announce it in this week’s bulletin because we happen to know she
is out of town!). All are welcome to come. If you can make it,
