YOUTH CONFERENCE
Calling all Catholic youth in grades 8 through 12 - on
Saturday, September 24, 8am - 5pm the Ministry for
Black Catholics is sponsoring a Youth Conference at St.
Elizabeth Ann Seton. The conference director is Sr.
Oralisa Martin who is a dynamic speaker from
Washington, DC. The purpose of the conference is to
connect our youth to their Catholic roots and a faith
response to today’s challenges. All youth regardless of
ethnicity are invited to attend. The cost is only $10 and
includes breakfast, lunch and workshop materials. Mark

In the second collection today, we are supporting
Pope Francis in his charitable works. The Peter’s
Pence Collection is taken up worldwide to support
our brothers and sisters on the margins of society,
including victims of war, oppression, and natural
disasters. In this Jubilee Year of Mercy, the
collection is an opportunity to join with Pope
Francis and be a witness of charity to our suffering
brothers and sisters. Please be generous in today’s
collection.
