Cognate o Cognadas
Explanation:
cognados = palabras que en ambos
idiomas tienen una ortografía
parecida y un significado igual o muy
parecido. En un texto académico no
hay necesidad de explicar más.
Ej.: Difficult = difícil
Computation=
Computacion

Doctor = Doctor
Piano = Piano
Wagon = Vagón
Computation = Computacion
Silence = Silencio
Visit, original, error, perfect, emotion
FALSOS COGNADOS
Actual = Actual porque En inglés
puede querer decir "real" y en
español quiere decir "corriente = de
hoy día" como en "los precios
actuales" = the current prices.

Direct Object
El objeto directo o direct object recibe
la acción del verbo.
El sujeto responde las preguntas:
¿Quién?, o ¿Qué? (Who? o What?)
antes del verbo. El objeto directo o
direct object responde a las
preguntas: ¿Quién? o ¿Qué? (Whom?
o What?) luego del verbo.
Generalmente el objeto directo es un
sustantivo o pronombre

Indirect Object
The indirect object is often used right
before a direct object and does not
follow a preposition, as illustrated in
the phrases above. If a preposition is
used, then the word becomes the
object of that preposition, as in the
following, where to and for are
prepositions and man and yourself
are their objects:

LOGO
We will make an offer to the man. Get
a job for yourself.
Even though the indirect object is not
found after a preposition in English, it
can be discovered by asking TO
WHOM or FOR WHOM after the verb:
We will make the man an offer
Get yourself a job
