En español… • Cuando queremos decir que debe hacer un amigo, usamos los mandatos informales… When we want to tell a friend to do something we use informal (tú) commands… • ¡Come! – EAT! • ¡Camina!- WALK! • ¡Dueme!- SLEEP! ¿Reconoces algo de los verbos? Mandatos afirmativos - Tú Para la mayoría de los verbos, usa la forma él/ella/Usted: STATEMENT COMMAND (tú) caminas ¡Camina! Walk! (tú) comes ¡Come! Eat! (tú) duermes ¡Duerme! Sleep! Los irregulares decir ¡Di! Say! Tell! hacer ¡Haz! Do! Make! poner ¡Pon! Put! Place! Set! tener ¡Ten! Have! be! salir ¡Sal! Leave! ser ¡Sé! Be! ir ¡Ve! Go! venir ¡Ven! Come! Los mandatos negativos • Para hacer mandatos negativos… – Usamos la forma “tú” del presente subjuntivo. 1.Start with the YO form of the present indicative. 2. Drop the “o”. 3. Ser - - ¡No seas! Haber - - ¡No hayas! Estar - - ¡No estés! Saber - - ¡No sepas! Te toca a ti… Eat more fruit! ¡Come más frutas! Sleep 8 hours a day! ¡Duerme ocho horas al día! Te toca a ti… Don’t run in the house! ¡No corras en casa! Don’t open the book! ¡No abras el libro! Pronombres: ¿Dónde los colocamos? • Mandatos positivos: SIEMPRE añade el pronombre o los pronombres al final del mandato. Ej: ¡Dámelo! ¡Cómela! • Mandatos negativos: SIEMPRE pon el pronombre o los pronombres antes del mandato. Ej: ¡No me los des! ¡No la comas! Te toca a ti… Eat it! ¡Cómelo! Give it to her! ¡Dáselo! Te toca a ti… Don’t yell at her! ¡No le grites! Don’t open it! ¡No lo abras!
