The Science Olympiad Competition will be on
Saturday, February 14 at Fairfax High School!
The MEHMS Counseling Office is hosting 6

(SIX!) events regarding the rising 9 grade
transition from MEH to George Mason High
School. There will be two morning sessions
for speaking with the GMHS Counseling Staff
and two sessions to discuss the MYP/IB
program, in addition to two formal evening
th

MEHMS is looking for Career Fair Volunteers!
All Huskies will participate in the 2015
MEHMS Career Fair on Thursday, March 5. If
bad weather occurs, it will take place the
following day. Please consider sharing your
profession with our students and fill out the
2015 Career Fair Registration Form.
Current 8th and 9th Grade students

are invited to apply for a FREE 3-day
residential summer experience on the campus
of Virginia Tech or the University of Virginia.
Students will explore the fun and excitement
of STEAM while residing on a college campus.
This Building Leaders for Advancing Science
and Technology (BLAST) program is designed
to attract students who are motivated to learn,
but have not yet shown interest in science,
technology, engineering or math (STEM)
coursework. Application Deadline: Feb. 2.

 Los examines de fin de semestre para los cursos
de crédito de la escuela secundaria se iniciara el
26 de enero.

Estudiantes del 8vo y 9no Grado están siendo invitados a
solicitar un pase de 3 días GRATIS al campamento de
Virginia Tech o al campamento de la Universidad de
Virginia para tener una experiencia de verano residencial.
Los estudiantes explorarán la diversión y la emoción de
STEAM mientras reside en un campus universitario. Este
