We have small dinosaurs in which we sorted by the animal and by the color. We are now constructing a dinosaur out of paper to make it look life size. The teachers have placed small dinosaurs in ice so the children need to chip away the ice and finds the dinosaur. Our Extraordinary Activity takes place on Wednesday April 8th to the West End Fire Station. Please make sure that your children wear appropriate shoes, such as sneakers. Par- ents are welcomed but please this experience is for the parent and child not siblings. It will be a fun experience. This function will also be our Parent Involvement Activity. The children will be going outside soon. Please dress your child appropriately and try to avoid sandals. The teachers will be meeting for our last Parent Teacher Conference starting in April. This will be held in the classroom so you can experience the hard work your child is doing. Spending quality family time. Try some of these healthy tips to help your whole family stay healthy: Choose low-fat or fatfree milk, cheese, and yogurt. They provide as much protein and calcium as whole milk products do. Try grilled, baked, or steamed choices instead of fried. Eat a rainbow! Snack on colorful fruits and vegetables. Choose whole grains (whole wheat, pasta, oats, brown rice). If you are thirsty, try drinking water instead of juice or soda. You’’ decrease the sugar you take in each day and feel better.
