Escriba S encima de los sujetos, V encima de los verbos, O encima de los complementos, A encima de los adjetivos, C encima de las conclusiones de los verbos y ( ) encerrando las frases con where o when. Algunas oraciones son oraciones compuestas con dos sujetos y dos verbos. Otras oraciones no son oraciones compuestas. En lugar de ello, tienen varios verbos. Después de cada una de las oraciones, escriba CS si es una oración compuesta y MV si es una oración con varios verbos. La primera ya se ha hecho. S V O V O 1. The six boys ran five miles, and the two girls ran six miles. Adverbs * Adverbios Los adjetivos describen sujetos y complementos. Los adverbios describen verbos e indican dónde, cuándo o cómo sucede la acción. Los adverbios a menudo terminan en -ly. Ejemplo: The truck turned right. Right es el adverbio porque dice hacia dónde volteó el camión. Ejemplo: Tomorrow, I will visit my mother. Tomorrow es el adverbio porque dice cuándo visitaré a mi madre. Ejemplo: The man ate slowly. Slowly es el adverbio porque dice cómo comió el hombre. Haga un diagrama de las siguientes oraciones. Escriba S encima del sujeto, V encima del verbo, C encima de la conclusión del verbo, A encima del adjetivo y AD encima del adverbio. La primera oración ya se ha hecho. AD S V A O 1. How Phrases * Frases con how Al lado de cada ilustración, escriba una oración con una frase how. Remember to indent the first word in each paragraph. Step 4: Edit Now reread your paragraph several times looking for the following errors. Capitalization Spelling Run-on sentences Punctuation Subject/verb agreement Incomplete sentence Step 5: Final Copy After you have fixed your errors, your rough draft becomes your final copy if you are working on a computer.
