Dear Parent/Guardian:
On, April 4th, Miramonte Elementary School is proud to partner with the American Heart Association through
Jump Rope For Heart! This community service project teaches our students the importance of heart health
(exercise, nutrition and living tobacco free) while having a great time jumping rope. Students also have the
opportunity to raise funds for the American Heart Association to fund research and educational materials to
lower the risks of America’s #1 and #5 killers: heart disease and stroke.

MISSION FOCUSED: When your child talks about his/her reason for participating in Jump Rope For
Heart (such as a lost loved one or a family history of heart disease), it helps them to connect the dots to a
healthier life and might even inspire a few other family members to live heart healthy too!

LIFE-SAVING DONATIONS:
o Use the attached collection envelope to track your donations.
o Fill your online pledge sheet by creating a webpage and sending emails to your friends and family.

GET YOUR PUPPIES TO THE PARK! Students who raise life-saving funds for the American Heart
Association will earn life-saving puppies. Collect all 6! See envelope for details.

DEADLINE: RETURN YOUR ENVELOPES BY April 13th, (Wednesday)
Please convert cash to checks, make checks payable to American Heart Association, or convert to online
donation under schools page. Also, remember to include your donation report for any online donations.
You can even check with your place of employment to see if they offer a matching gift.
School Goal and Incentives: Our Goal is raise $3000 for The AHA, to help fight heart disease and stroke!!!
Incentives: The 1st 5 students to raise a donation online will get a Jump Rope for Heart Playground ball.

En April 4th, Miramonte Elementary día del evento nuestra escuela está orgullosa de asociarse con ¡Jump
Rope For Heart de la Asociación Americana del Corazón! Este programa de servicio comunitario enseña a
nuestros estudiantes la importancia de salud del corazón (ejercicio, nutrición, libre de tabaco) mientras teniendo
un buen tiempo brincando cuerda. Estudiantes tienen la oportunidad de recaudar fondos para la Asociación
Americana del Corazón los cuales son utilizados pare fundar investigaciones médicas y materiales educacionales
para bajar el riesgo número uno (#1) y cinco (#5) en América: fallecimiento de enfermedad del corazón y
apoplejía (colapso cerebral).
Misión la Asociación Americana del Corazón: Tener una vida más saludable libre de enfermedades de
corazón e apoplejía.

Foco de la misión: Cuando su hijo/hija hable de las razones para participar en “Jump Rope For Heart”
(Brincar cuerda) (como por ejemplo un ser querido que ha fallecido o un historial familiar de enfermedad
cardiaca), les ayuda a comprender a vivir más saludable e inspirar a familiares vivir su vida saludable.

Donaciones que salvan vidas:
• Por favor use el sobre para guardar las donaciones.
• Llene su en página de promesa en el sitio de internet. Hagan su página web y manden mensajes por
correos electrónicos a su familia e amigos. Es divertido, seguro y fácil. Vaya a la página de web

Fecha Limite: Regresen su sobres antes del día por favor conviertan dinero en efectivo a cheques, los
cheques deben ser dirigidos a American Heart Association. O convierta el pago donativo bajo la página
de su escuela. También recuerden de incluir su reporte de donación si hay donaciones en el internet.
