ESTUDIO DESCRIPTIVO OBSERVACIONAL/
OBSERVATIONAL DEXCRIPTIVE STUDY
Objetivo General.
Desarrollar de una escala de valoración de la dermatitis del pañal con iconografía de
lesiones debidas a la acción irritativa de fluidos corporales, detergentes, mal secado,
etc.
General Objective
Develop a valuation scale of diaper rash with a iconography of the lesions due to the
irritation caused by the corporal fluids, detergents, poor drying, etc.
Objetivos específicos
Recomendaciones sobre el uso adecuado de los dispositivos absorbentes en el
cuidado del anciano incontinente urinaria/fecal para prevenir el deterioro de la
integridad cutánea y las consiguientes complicaciones.
Proteger y mantener la función barrera de la piel
Specific Objectives
Recommendations about the proper use of absorbent products in the care of
incontinent (urinary or fecal) elder withe objective of preventing the deterioration of
the skin integrity and its complications

Basado en la Escala visual del eritema (EVE).
0 No eritema
1 Poco eritema (casi imperceptible)
2 Eritema moderado (piel rosa)
3 Eritema intenso (piel púrpura o roja)
4 Piel rota o abrasión.
Based on the Erythema Visual Scale (EVS).
0 No erythema
1 Small erythema ( nearly mperceptible).
2 Moderate erythema (pinkish skin).
3 Intense erythema (purple or red skin).
4 Broken skin or abrasion.
ÚLCERA: Lesión con perdida de de
todas las capas de la piel e incluso
puede alcanzar al hueso.
ULCER: lesion with loss of all skin
layers;it can arrive to the bones.
CANDIDIASIS: Áreas de pliegues
interglúteos como los inguinales e incluso
sub abdominal en sujetos obesos, debido a
la humedad y oclusión por colonización de
la cándida: erosiones en pliegue, pústulas
satélites próxima a la zona
eritoeescamosa, exudación, sensación de
quemazón.
CANDIDIASIS: areas of intergluteos
creases such as the inguinals or
subabdominal in obese perople due to the
moisture and the occlusion by colonization
of the candida: erosion of creases, satellite
pustule close to erito-squamous area,
exudation, burning feeling.
ERITEMA IRRITATIVO + EXUDACIÓN:
Ruptura completa de la piel y de forma
lineal, principalmente en pliegues y por
humedad (grietas).
IRRITANT ERYTHEMA + EXUDATION:
complete and lineal break of the skin,
basically within creases and due to
moisture.
DESCAMACIÓN / ECZEMA: Pérdida del
manto hidrolipídico de la piel, con aspecto
de sequedad y descamación y cuarteado
de la epidermis sin llegar a formar fisuras y
con prurito.
DESQUAMATION/ ECZEMA: Loss of the
hydrolipidic layer of the skin, with the
appearance of dry skin and desquamation
and broken epidermis with pruritus but not
creating fissures.
ERITEMA: Coloración rojo/sonrosada
de la piel debido a una vasodilatación
de los capilares cutáneos y por lo
general multifactorial en su etiología.
ERYTHEMA: red/pinkish skin due to a
vasodilation of the cutaneous capillary,
and generally multifactorial in its
etiology.
LIQUENIFICACIÓN: Lesiones producidas
por un continuo rascado o arrastre
(esponjas, jabones, toallas) en la piel,
presentado una piel mas gruesa, brillante.
LICHENIFICATION: lesions caused by a
continuous scraching and dragging (spone,
soaps, towels) in the skin, showing a harder
and brilliant skin.
