When you have a question about your Boston Scientific implanted heart device, you can dial one number to reach
someone who can help you find the answers you need.
Although you should call your heart doctor first if you have specific questions about your medical condition or
implanted device, you can call Boston Scientific’s Patient Services team any time to talk to an expert who can
answer questions about your device, about your LATITUDE equipment (if prescribed by your doctor), or about
living with your device.

LATITUDE® Patient
Management
Technical Patient
Support
Medical Records
LATITUDE allows your doctor to
check your device while you’re at
home and can alert your doctor
under certain circumstances (for
example, if the battery power is low).
Boston Scientific’s Technical
Patient Support team has
in-depth experience in heart
device operation.
If your doctor prescribed the
LATITUDE Patient Management
system you will receive:
•A Communicator
•A set-up guide and
instructional videos
•A weight scale and blood
pressure monitor (optional)
Call the Patient Services group
if you:
•Need help setting up or using
your home-monitoring system
•Need help reinstalling your
equipment if you travel with it
•Have questions related to the
use of your telephone or
other household appliances
in conjunction with your
Communicator
•Need help understanding
messages you may receive
on your Communicator
Call this group if you:
•Have technical questions
about your device − how it
works or how it affects your
day-to-day activities
•Need information about
potential interactions between
your device and every day
items you use at home or
at work
•Are interested in receiving
educational materials (for
individuals or groups) that
describe how implanted
devices work
•Have questions about
possible replacement of
your Boston Scientific device
Weekdays between
7 am and 7 pm (Central time).
Medical Records maintains
up-to-date information in case
Boston Scientific needs to
contact you or your heart doctor.
If you have a new address, a
name change, or a new doctor,
please call a Medical Records
team member with your new
information.
Medical Records can also
help if you need:
•A medical device ID card,
which includes your heart
doctor’s name, telephone
number, and other
important information
•A patient travel card, which
explains to airport security
staff that your device may
trigger airport security alarms
•Information about health
care facilities around the
nation or world if you need
a device check while traveling

Management
Asistencia técnica

LATITUDE permite a su médico

de alerta al médico en

videos instructivos
