Nace como una segunda época luego de una primera y fecunda experiencia con Seminarios de Filosofía (1988-2005). Aporía tiene como objetivo principal perfeccionar, enriquecer y promover la reflexión y discusión filosófica a través de artículos que destaquen o definan un genuino problema filosófico, en cualquier época y corriente, y justifiquen argumentativamente sus soluciones posibles o las principales dificultades en su tratamiento. It is published twice in a year and practices a double blind review procedure. It has been born as a second stage after a first and fruitful experience with Seminarios de Filosofía (1988-2005). Its main interest is to improve, enhance and promote philosophical reflection and discussion by means of articles that draw attention to or define a genuine philosophical problem, at any period or tradition, and justify by arguments its possible solution or its major difficulties in treatment. Aporía es una revista que busca reencontrarse con la filosofía, con su origen, tradición y desarrollo para promover el conocimiento de esta disciplina a través de artículos de carácter original que se propongan como objetivo una discusión académica sobre un problema filosófico y sus posibles soluciones. Es publicada por la Facultad de Filosofía de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Nace como una segunda época luego de una primera y fecunda experiencia con Seminarios de Filosofía (1988-2005). En su etapa inicial, se proyecta con la publicación semestral de artículos de carácter científico, que sean inéditos y, preferentemente, producidos por investigaciones en cualquier área de la filosofía. Objetivos y misión. Aporía tiene como objetivo principal perfeccionar, enriquecer y promover la reflexión y discusión filosófica a través de artículos que destaquen o definan un genuino problema filosófico, en cualquier época y corriente, y justifiquen argumentativamente sus soluciones posibles o las principales dificultades en su tratamiento. Política Editorial. Aporía convoca a todos los interesados a enviar sus artículos a la dirección de la revista ([email protected]) o a su correo postal (Revista Aporía. Facultad de Filosofía. Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Campus San Joaquín. Av. Vicuña Mackenna 4860. Macul. CP. 7820436. Santiago de Chile. Chile). La revisión de los artículos se realiza en el total anonimato de los autores por un grupo de pares que actúan como árbitros externos a la dirección de la revista, quienes generosamente cooperan con ella. Los árbitros pueden aceptar, aceptar con observaciones o rechazar el artículo propuesto. Aporía recibe artículos en español e inglés, con un máximo de 18 páginas y un mínimo de 5, incluyendo la bibliografía. Forma, presentación y envío de los artículos. Las contribuciones serán presentadas en formato digital en cualquier programa conocido de procesamiento de palabras. Además, los artículos deben cumplir con ciertas formalidades en su presentación a la Revista cuyo detalle se halla aquí en “Normas para los Autores”. El editor responsable se reserva el derecho de hacer modificaciones formales a los artículos presentados y aprobados para su publicación El copyright de los artículos publicados en Aporía pertenece a la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, pero cualquier reproducción de los contenidos de Aporía está autorizada con cita completa de la fuente (Título de la revista, año, número, título del artículo y nombre de su autor). Desde el momento que un artículo es publicado en Aporía, su autor pierde el derecho de su difusión a no ser citando completamente la fuente. Aporía. Aporía is a journal that seeks to reconnect with philosophy, with its origin, tradition and development in order to promote the knowledge of this discipline through original articles provided by an academic discussion on any philosophical problem and its possible solution. It is published by the Faculty of Philosophy at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and builds on the fruitful experience of a previous project, the Seminarios de Filosofía (1988-2005). In its initial stage, the journal will consist in two issues per year, containing previously unpublished academic articles, preferably produced by research, in all areas of philosophy. Objectives and mission. Aporía’s main objective is to improve, enrich and promote philosophical reflection and discussion through articles that highlight or define a genuine philosophical problem, within any historical time period or school, and justify with arguments its possible solutions or the main difficulties in its treatment. Editorial Policy. Aporía invites any interested parties to contribute to the journal by sending an article to the Director’s electronic address: [email protected] or to his office by post (Revista Aporía. Articles will be blind-reviewed by peers who are not part of the Journal but generously cooperate with it. The referees can accept, accept with objections or refuse an article. The Journal accepts articles written either in English or Spanish with a maximum length of 18 pages (or 7000 words) and a minimum of 5 (or 3000 words), including the bibliography. Presentation and submission of articles. Preferably, submissions should be made in electronic format made by any known computer word processing system. The articles must satisfy certain formal requirements, details of which are described in “Guidelines for Authors”. The editor holds the right to make formal modifications to the approved articles with the sole aim of maintaining a uniform design of journal issue. The copyright of the published articles belongs to Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile but any reproduction of the contents is acceptable, if a complete citation of the source (Title of the Journal, name of the author or authors, title of the article, academic affiliation of the author or authors, year of publication, number and pages). Once an article is accepted for publication in Aporía, its author or authors lose the right to disseminate it, unless the complete source of publication is cited.
