Por ejemplo: I’m going to buy a new car next week. 2. Por ejemplo: It’s very cold. I think it’s going to snow. Por ejemplo: People in the next century are going to have many problems. La forma going to se construye de la siguiente manera: Affirmative I am She / He / It is …going to read a book tomorrow We / You / They are Negative I am She / He / It is … not going to read a book tomorrow We / You / They are Yes – No question Am I Is She / He / It … going to read a book tomorrow? Are We /You / They Short answers Yes, I am. / No, I’m not. Contractions I’m… She’s / He’s / It’s… going to read a book We’re / You’re / They’re… Wh questions When What Am I Where Is She / He / It … going to read a book ? Why Are We / You / They Time expressions: Los adverbios de tiempo o expresiones se usan para precisar el tiempo en el que estamos hablando o en el que se van a realizar las actividades, en este caso seria para marcar el futuro. Ejemplo: Tomorrow, tonight, next summer, etc. Ejemplo: Next month, I’m going to the disco with my friends. When is your next vacation? How long are you going to be on vacation? Where are you going to go? What are you going to do? Who are you going to go with? What are you going to eat? What are you going to bring back? 1. 2. Cada equipo pasa al frente para contarle al resto del grupo las vacaciones ideales más originales del equipo: Mari is going to go to Africa. She is going to take photos and learn about a new culture. She is going to bring a pink elephant back... 3. TEMA 2 Resolutions Objetivo de aprendizaje: 2.Planear y predecir acciones o actividades a futuro utilizando will. Future with will (affirmative, negative, yes no questions, wh questions) 7 Utilizamos will- won’t cuando hacemos simples predicciones acerca de acciones o situaciones para realizar a futuro. Affirmative Negative Yes – No Question Short answers Contractions Wh questions I She / He / It …will come tomorrow We / You / They I She / He / It …won’t come tomorrow We / You / They I Will She / He / It … come tomorrow? We /You / They Yes, I will. / No, I won’t.. I’ll… She’ll / He’ll / It’ll… … come tomorrow We’ll / You’ll / They’ll… When What will I Where will She / He / It _______? 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. What will I do on your next vacation? Which team will win the next soccer world cup? What will be your country’s biggest problem in ten years? What will I do after class tonight? Ejemplos: If you study, you will pass the exam. / If you lend me five dollars, I will pay you back tomorrow. I.-Write the correct form of the verb in the dependent clause of the conditional sentences below. 9 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Past tense of the verb to be (Aff. Neg. – Yes – No questions WH questions) El verbo to be tiene los significados de ser o estar en español. El pasado del verbo ser o estar tiene dos formas: was / were. I HE SHE IT WE YOU THEY WAS WERE Algunos de los usos más comunes para was y were son el expresar el lugar donde estaba algo o alguien, el estado de animo o físico que tenia una persona u objeto, para expresar alguna cualidad o característica que la persona o el objeto tenia y para expresar edades en pasado. AFFIRMATIVE I was He was She was It was We were You were They were NEGATIVE I wasn’t He wasn’t She wasn’t It wasn’t We weren’t You weren’t They weren’t INTERROGATIVE Was I? Was he? Was she? Was it? Were we? Were you? Were they? . WH QUESTIONS Was I? Was he? when Was she? what Was it? where Were we? Were you? Were they? Ejemplos: - I was very tired yesterday because I went to the gym. - Last week my parents were in South America. - I didn’t buy the pants because they were too modern. - Jenny was 25 years old when I met her. Ejemplos: - Was the food good? - Where were you last night? - The homework wasn’t correct. 12 - They weren’t happy about the results. Ejemplo: I went to the movies last Wednesday. Ejemplo: Did you arrive to New York, last week? Ejemplo: I did not buy anything. Existen preguntas que deberán comenzar con las llamadas questions words (what, where, when, who, which, why, how), seguidas por el auxiliary did, a estas preguntas se les llama Wh questions. Ejemplos: Where did you go last Saturday? / When did you visit your grand parents? Ejemplo: Last weekend, last night, last summer, etc. Ejemplo: Last month, I went to the cinema with my friends. 13 Ejercicio 4. Instrucciones:En equipos de 4-6 personas, los alumnos se preguntaran entre si donde estuvieron, refiriéndose a algún punto en el pasado (ayer, la semana pasada, al Sábado pasado, etc.)La pregunta modelo que usaran será: Where were you (...)? Ejercicio 5. Instrucciones: Los alumnos completarán las oraciones con la forma correcta del verbo ser o estar (to be). A. Complete the sentences using: am, is, are, was, were. a) b) c) d) e) f) g) h) i) j) Last year she _________ 22, so she _________ 23 now. Ejercicio 8. Instrucciones: Los alumnos deberán contestar un ejercicio escrito donde se utilizará tanto presente simple como presente progresivo, después harán un pequeño resumen donde expliquen cuando se hace uso de cada uno de los tiempos (Present continuous and simple present) Read this conversation and complete with a verb in simple present or present continuous. A: Hello, what are you _______(do / doing)? B: I’m (do / doing) ________ my homework. A: But, it’s too late. It’s 11:30pm B: Well, I always (do / doing)________ it at 4 or 5pm. A: Hey! You are (drink / drinking) _____________ soda, (give / giving) __________ me a little. Criterio de aprendizaje: 6.1.Definir would/have to refiriéndose a invitaciones y obligaciones. Ejemplos: Would you like a cup of coffee? / Would you like to come over for dinner tomorrow night? *Would es también la forma del pasado de will. Have to Normalmente se utiliza Have to cuando alguien obliga a hacer algo a otra persona. Ejemplo: You have to go to the doctor’s at 11:30 (El tiempo de la cita no fue decidido por el paciente sino por alguien más, el oculista). Have to algunas veces tiene que ver con hechos que son habituales. Ejemplo: Edwin has to wear glasses when he drives. Ejemplo: I have to wash the windows, they’re really dirty. Affirmative I HAVE TO HE SHE HAS TO IT WE YOU HAVE TO THEY Negative I DON’T HAVE TO HE SHE DOESN’T HAVE TO IT WE YOU DON’T HAVE TO THEY Resultado de aprendizaje: 6.1.1.Practicar el uso de would / have to en conversaciones formales y ejercicios escritos.
