Notice of Completion and Availability of Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR)
Notice of Public Meeting on Certification of FEIR
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that:
(1) The Exposition Construction Authority has completed the Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) for
the Expo Phase 2 project (“Project”). The Project is the proposed extension of the Expo Light Rail Line
from Culver City to Santa Monica;
(2) The FEIR is available for public review online at BuildExpo.org, under the Phase 2 tab, and at the
locations identified below; and
(3) On Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 2:00 p.m., the Exposition Construction Authority’s Board of Directors
will conduct a public meeting to consider whether to certify the FEIR under the California Environmental
Quality Act (CEQA). This meeting will be held in the Board of Supervisor’s Hearing Room on the third
floor of the Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration located at 500 W. Temple Street, Los Angeles, 90012.
Description of Project and Project Location: The Project extends transit service from the Expo Phase 1
terminus in Culver City to 4th Street and Colorado Avenue in Santa Monica. (See map below of Project alternative
recommended for approval in the FEIR and the other alternatives evaluated in the FEIR)
The FEIR was prepared by the Exposition Construction Authority, the lead agency, to satisfy the requirements of
the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). It examines the potential environmental effects that may result
from the Project, evaluates alternatives to the Project and identifies measures to mitigate the significant effects of
the Project.
The FEIR is comprised of the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR), comments received during the public
review period, responses to the comments, and revisions to the DEIR.

Public Meeting Regarding Certification of FEIR: On Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 2:00 p.m., the Exposition
Construction Authority’s Board of Directors will consider a recommendation to certify the FEIR. This meeting will
be held in the Board of Supervisor’s hearing room on the third floor of the Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration
located at 500 W. Temple Street, Los Angeles, 90012. Please note that there will be a time limit per speaker.

Notificación de Reunión Pública sobre la Certificación del FEIR
POR LA PRESENTE SE NOTIFICA, que:
(1) Las Autoridades Exposition Construction Authority han completado el Informe Final de Efectos
Medioambientales (FEIR) para el proyecto Expo Etapa 2 (“Proyecto”). El Proyecto es la propuesta extensión
de la Línea de Tren Ligero Expo desde Culver City hasta Santa Monica;
(2) El FEIR puede consultarse por Internet yendo a BuildExpo.org, bajo la pestaña Phase 2, y en los lugares
identificados más abajo; y
(3) El jueves, 4 de febrero de 2010 a las 2:00 p.m., la Mesa Directiva de las Autoridades Exposition Construction
Authority tendrá una reunión pública para considerar la certificación del FEIR bajo la Ley de Calidad
Medioambiental de California (California Environmental Quality Act) (CEQA, por sus siglas en inglés). Esta
reunión se llevará a cabo en la Sala de Audiencias de la Mesa Directiva de Supervisores, en el tercer piso del
edificio Kenneth Hahn Hall of Administration, ubicado en el 500 W. Temple Street, Los Angeles, 90012.
Descripción y ubicación del proyecto: El Proyecto extiende el servicio de transito publico desde la Terminal de
Expo Etapa 1 en Culver City hasta 4th Street y Colorado Avenue en Santa Mónica. (Vea el mapa abajo que muestra la
alternativa recomendada en el FEIR y las otras alternativas que se consideraron en el FEIR)
El FEIR fue preparado por las autoridades Exposition Construction Authority, el organismo principal, para satisfacer los
requisitos de CEQA. Dicho informe examina los potenciales efectos medioambientales que pueden resultar del
Proyecto, evalúa las alternativas del Proyecto e identifica medidas de mitigación para los efectos significativos del
Proyecto.
El FEIR consiste en el Informe Preliminar de Efectos Medioambientales (Draft Environmental Impact Report) (DEIR, por
sus siglas en inglés), los comentarios recibidos durante el periodo de evaluación, respuestas a estos comentarios, y
modificaciones al DEIR.
