N ext week, Duncan Tonatiuh, an author and illustrator who writes about culture and race for children, will share his work in Overland Park. On Oct. 5, the award-winning artist will be a featured guest at Johnson County’s Central Resource Library, where he will lead a bilingual storytime session from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. for young children at the library. Bedtime snacks will be provided and books will be available for purchase. The library is located at 9875 W. 87th St. in Overland Park. His artwork will also be on display at the library. On Oct. 6, Tonatiuh will visit Shawnee Mission North High School in the morning, and at noon he’ll give a presentation during a luncheon at Oak Park Library, located at 9500 Bluejacket Drive. This year, Tonatiuh won the Robert F.
