MOVIMIENTO FAMILIAR CRISTIANO-USA
Spanish speaking couples interested in improving their lives as a

The Social Justice Ministry invites you to participate in the
“Year of Encounter with Pope Francis,” in an ENCOUNTER

ST. MARY’S PARISH INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL
St. Mary’s Parish in Oakdale invites everyone to their
International Festival beginning with a Pasta Dinner the night
before on Saturday, September 12. The festival begins on
Sunday, September 13 with a bilingual Mass at 9:30 a.m.
Festivities include a soccer tournament, wine & cheese garden,
multi-cultural food, live entertainment and a silent and live

La Iglesia de Santa María de Oakdale invita a todos a su

AN AUTUMN MESSAGE ABOUT CHILD PROTECTION
Autumn means back to school for children and back to work for
those who have been on vacation. Amidst the hustle and bustle of
this season, let us all keep sight of the importance of keeping our
children and young people safe from danger.
Training requirements to safeguard children have been
established in parishes throughout the Diocese of Stockton. These
training requirements help ensure that all children and youth
experience a safe environment in all parish activities and events.
The Diocese of Stockton mandates that all people who work
with children and youth in our parishes and schools must
undergo child abuse prevention training through the
guidelines established by the United States Conference of
Catholic Bishops. This training includes being fingerprinted and
background checked and completing an on-line training course
entitled Shield the Vulnerable. If you are planning on helping or
assisting in your child’s school, you are required to complete this
training. For training information, contact your local parish/
school Safe Environment Coordinator. For particular help and

Safe Environment for the Diocese of Stockton, at

JOB OPENINGS
St. Joseph’s Church in Modesto has a job opening for the
pastor’s confidential secretary. This is a full time, benefit eligible position. This position requires office experience, Microsoft
Office proficiency and the ability to acquire new technology
applications. Literacy in spoken and written Spanish is desirable

THE DIOCESE OF STOCKTON HAS TWO OPENINGS
FOR PART-TIME POSITIONS.
(1) Development Assistant: This position provides administrative support in development fundraising efforts such as
appeals, events and development communications. This
individual assists in securing meeting and event dates,
arranges hospitality, and composes various written
documents and must be strong in oral and written
communication. This individual will prepare database reports
and perform high-level data entry. Candidate must be highly
skilled in computer/data processing, basic accounting and
10-key by touch, and Microsoft Excel and Word.
(2) Temporary Data Entry Clerk(s): Ideal candidate(s) will
have high attention to detail and be able to process data into
the donor database with precision and accuracy in accordance
with the Gifts Processing Procedures while maintaining
ethical and donor confidentiality.

UN MENSAJE DE OTOÑO SOBRE PROTECCIÓN
INFANTIL
El otoño significa el regreso a la escuela para los niños y el

nuestros niños y jóvenes.
Se han establecido requisitos de capacitación para proteger a los

de capacitación ayudan a garantizar que todos los niños y los
