RCIA – RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION
FOR ADULTS
RCIA, the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, is welcoming
adults into the process for the upcoming liturgical year. RCIA is
for adults who are either:

Pilgrimage
World Youth Day ~ Monday, July 25
On World Youth Day, youth and young adults from all over the
world will be taking pilgrimages to Holy Doors. Our Lady of
Lourdes Church in Glassboro is blessed to have Holy Doors, and
youth and young adults will be taking a walking pilgrimage there
from Our Lady, Queen of Peace Church in Pitman.
Schedule:
. 9 am: Mass at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Pitman,
followed by light breakfast
. 10 am: Begin walk to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Glassboro
. Service Project (sandwich making for Cathedral Kitchen)
. Noon: Welcome other pilgrims and walk through Doors of
Mercy
. Noon—1 pm: Reconciliation & Adoration
. 1 pm: Lunch in Mercy Hall (& live streaming from Poland of
WYD)
All youth and young adults are invited to participate in all or
some of the day’s planned events. (Parents are welcome to
walk with their kids.)

Are you 21 years of age or older? We are asking that you
register in the parish as an adult, so that you can be included in
all invitations, mailings, etc. Registration forms are available in

a more accurate representation, we hope to reach out to you as

What you need to know when requesting a
CERTIFICATE OF ELIGIBILITY FOR SPONSORSHIP
In order to be a Godparent or Sponsor for Baptism and/or
Confirmation, the individual should meet the following
requirements:
• Be a registered, active participant
• Be at least 16 years of age
• The sponsor must be baptized and have received
the Sacraments of the Eucharist & Confirmation
• If married, validly married in the Catholic Church

LA FECHA: lunes 25 de julio es el Día mundial de la juventud y
la juventud de todo el mundo va a tomar peregrinaciones a
puertas santas. Hemos sido bendecidos con puertas santas
para el Año de la Misericordia en Nuestra Señora de Lourdes.
Jóvenes de otras parroquias va a tomar un peregrinaje a pie a

Nuestra Señora Reina de la Paz en Pitman a la Virgen de

Durante este año jubilar de la Misericordia, los sacerdotes y
diáconos predicarán algunos fines de semana sobre el cabo y

La parroquia está buscando un nuevo equipo de personas para

la casa de Dios debe mostrar el mismo respeto que mostrar en

SALON DE LA IGLESIA
La sala en la Iglesia está disponible en alquiler para las

VELA SANTUARIO
La vela es el santuario de la vela roja detrás del altar, al lado
del tabernáculo. Se queda encendida para recordarnos la
presencia real de Jesús en la Eucaristía y su presencia
constante con nosotros. La vela del Santuario está disponible
para el patrocinio. Por una donación de $10.00 por usted
puede designar su ofrenda en honor a una persona especial,
en acción de gracias por una bendición, o en la memoria de un
ser querido. Por favor, póngase en contacto con el centro

Caridades Católicas está ofreciendo una serie de talleres
