Baptisms / Bautizos
Baptism Preparation classes are held quarterly
starting in Jan. It is easier for many families to
register for the classes during pregnancy. Call the
office for more information.

Marriages / Matrimonios
Marriage Preparation Classes are held monthly, on
the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00pm. The
next class is on July 18, 2012 at 7:00pm in the
Faith Formation Building.

Youth Ministry / Ministerio Juvenil
1. YM Softball practices have begun on Mondays,
Tuesdays, & Wednesdays 6:30-8:30pm out behind
Holy Cross church. Come as often as you can as we
prepare for the Diocesan Tournament in September.
We need guys and girls, middle school and high
school. If you’re new to softball, no worries, Coach
Don will teach you!

The DCYC Banner Meeting is on Sunday, 7/8,
5:00-7:00pm in the Church Cafeteria. All youth
attending DCYC must attend the first 30 minutes of
this meeting with a parent to go over details.
Following that, youth can stay for dinner and banner
creation.

Registration for Youth Ministry is ongoing. The
packet is available in the church office or on the
Youth ROCK page at www.HolyCrossCC.org. The
cost is $60.

Las prácticas del equipo de softball del
Ministerio Juvenil son los lunes, martes y miércoles
6:30-8:30pm en la parte de atrás de la iglesia de Holy
Cross. Vengan lo más que puedan para prepararnos

School Maintenance Custodian Needed /

position of School Maintenance Custodian. This
position is responsible for maintaining the school
building and grounds in a clean, safe and orderly
manner and performing minor maintenance and
repairs, as well as, general assistance as needed
with setting up chairs, tables and equipment. The

Quince Años Preparation
At Holy Cross, we welcome the opportunity to invite
young people into the life and work of our
community by celebrating Quince Años. This is a
wonderful opportunity for young men and women to
renew their baptismal promises and to give thanks
to God for the gift of life, family, and community.
The requirements for participants are as follows:
●The participant must be baptized and have
received the sacraments of First Reconciliation and
First Communion OR currently be preparing for the
reception of the sacraments.
●The family must be registered members of Holy
Cross Church.
●The participant must be registered and attending
the Holy Cross youth ministry program currently and
in the past year to their Quince Años celebration.
●Participants must also go through a special
preparation program prior to the Quince Años. The
program fee is $150
Please call the church office to get the dates for the
preparation program for the Quince Años.
**Parents/Godparents/Guardians must attend the
first session with the participant.** Upon completion
of the first session, the Quince Años Mass date and
time may be scheduled with Father Holmberg by
calling the church office (972-625-5252). The fourth
session will be with Deacon Simon Torrez.
Participants must be registered in the Quince Años
Program prior to the first session. The fee is $150,
due at registration.
En Holy Cross, es bienvenida la oportunidad de
invitar a la juventud en la vida y trabajo de nuestra
comunidad celebrando sus Quince Años. Esta es
una gran oportunidad para todas y todos los
jóvenes, de renovar su promesa bautismal y dar
gracias a Dios por el regalo de vida, su familia y su
comunidad.

Safe Environment Initial and Re-Training
Class
The next English date for the Re-Training class is
Tuesday, July 14 at 6:30 p.m.
The Initial Training class will be Saturday, July 24 at
9:00am in the Faith Formation Building. To register
for the Safe Environment Initial or Re-Training class,

Holy Cross Quilt Ministry / Ministerio de
Edredones de Holy Cross
Holy Cross Quilt Ministry provides quilts to those in
our parish family that are undergoing surgery,
chemo treatment or experiencing a debilitating
illness. Quilts have been blessed by one of our
parish priests and are given in the spirit of
conveying the love, comfort and prayers of our
parish community. If you or someone you know in
our parish family would benefit from a quilt please
