
Past simple de to be.
1. Completa los huecos en cada oración con la forma correcta del verbo to be en
past simple:
a) Those girls were Italian.
b) My niece was very well yesterday.
c) “Was Kirk in New York?” “Yes, he was.”
d) Tom and Peter were actors when they were younger.
e) “Were your brothers good students?” “No, they weren’t.”

2. Completa las oraciones con la forma correcta del verbo entre paréntesis en
past simple:
a) Peter never cleaned (clean) his flat at the weekends.

d) He did not cook / didn’t cook (not / cook) dinner last night.
