Numbers and
Colors!
The students will practice saying and
reading Spanish colors and numbers.
Use the number and color flash cards
with the students to review the words.
Then program the colors and the
number words on wooden clothespins.
Pass out the Number and Color Words
mats. (you may want to make a few
copies to distribute) Students will take
the clothespins and clip them to the
matching colors and numbers on the
mats. Then students will use the word
banks to help them complete the
number and color words recording
sheets.

Numbers and
Colors Mats
Print out enough copies for a work station.
Program clothespins with the corresponding
numbers and colors in Spanish. Students will
match the number or color word on the clothespin
to the number or color on the mat. They may use
the word banks that I have provided. Then
complete the color and numbers recording sheet.

Taco Craft and
Writing Activity
1. Cut out a circle on yellow
construction paper. This
will be the tortilla shell.
2. Have the kids cut strips of
brown (for the meat), red
(tomatoes), green (lettuce),
and orange (cheese)
construction paper. They can
stuff their taco with
the strips. Make sure they
have strips that hang on
the outside of the tortilla.
3. Now they should put glue
on the top and bottom part
of the taco and fold it up. Tell
the kids to hold it and
squeeze it together for 1
minute.
4. Complete the writing on
how to make a taco.
