Homework Menu: Study Vocabulary Terms
Reading Fluency: Read for one minute each day.
Reading/Grammar: Complete Science Worksheet
Students will be learning…
Reading: This week we will begin reviewing our
Earth Science concepts in preparation for the
Science STAAR test.
Vocabulary: Vocabulary words are associated
with Earth Science.
*PowerPoints for this week’s lessons can be
found on my webpage, located on the CISD
website.
 STAAR-bound: We will work on completing
our review for Units 1 & 2 in Science and
beginning our review of Units 3 & 4. With
review stations, small review labs, strategy
building, and hard work, we are convinced we
will reach the STAAR better prepared than
ever!
ESTA SEMANA…
 Rumbo a STAAR: Trabajaremos en completar
nuestro repaso de las primeras dos unidades
de Ciencias y comenzar el repaso de las
unidades 3 y 4. Con estaciones de repaso,
pequeños laboratorios, construcción de
estrategias y trabajo duro, llegaremos al
STAAR más preparados que nunca!
HOMEWORK
Vocabulary Snip-Its: Review for SE 5.6B
Motivation Science: Homework Section p.74 & 114
Mrs. Delgado
Tarea: Se le da al alumno el primer día de la semana y este la debe entregar el viernes de esa
misma semana.
Ortografía: Escoger 2 actividades del menú y realizarlas con las palabras de la semana. Examen
el viernes.
Gramática / Escritura: Contestar la hoja del verbo ser.
Ciencias: No hay tarea.
Lectura: Leer la historia en voz alta a un adulto por 1 minuto de lunes a jueves. Escribir la
cantidad de palabras leídas y pedirle a un adulto que escriba sus iniciales.
Español: Los estudiantes aprenden a usar correctamente los verbos irregulares en modo
indicativo.
Social Studies: Primera Guerra Mundial.
Ciencias: Life Science Review.

They need to know how to spell each word and the meaning.
