There are three types of verbs in
Spanish:
–ar, –er and –ir
so-called because of their endings.
Our very first verb (which we just
had to memorize) was ser, an –er
verb. It, however, is irregular.
Most verbs follow a pattern changing their endings depending
on the subject doing the action.
Remember the endings for –ar,
