to the Priesthood and Religious Life
Lord Jesus Christ, Savior of the world!
We humbly beg of you to manifest in your Church
The Spirit
whom you abundantly bestowed on your Apostles.
Call, we pray, very many to your priesthood
and to the religious life.
And may zeal for your glory and the salvation of souls
inflame those whom you have chosen;
May they be saints in your likeness,
And may your Spirit strengthen them.
O Jesus, give us priests and religious
According to your own Heart!
O Mary, Mother of Jesus!
Obtain for fervent souls the grace to hear
And the courage to follow your Divine Son
In the path of religious perfection.
Queen of Apostles, pray for us!
Queen of Virgins, pray for us!

al sacerdocio ya la vida religiosa
¡Señor Jesucristo, Salvador del mundo!
Humildemente suplicamos que manifieste en su Iglesia
El Espíritu que abundantemente
manifestió en su Apóstoles.
Llama, te rogamos,
muchos al sacerdocio y a la vida religiosa.
Y que el celo por tu gloria
y la salvación de las almas inflame
aquellos a quienes usted ha elegido;
Que sean santos en su semejanza,
Y que tu Espíritu los fortalezca.
¡Oh Jesús, danos sacerdotes y religiosas
De acuerdo con su propio corazón!
¡Oh María, Madre de Jesús!
Obtenga a las almas fervientes la gracia
