Primer premio concurso internacional
El reto era diseñar un aeropuerto hub funcional que estuviese perfectamente
integrado con el edificio Terminal existente en funcionamiento.
Para ello se realizó una estructura modular siguiendo el esquema del edificio
existente, logrando una coherencia espacial entre ambos edificios terminales. La
sensación de continuidad se ve reforzada por una fachada moderna que cubre
ambos edificios.
En este proyecto participaron varios miembros del equipo actual de luis vidal +
arquitectos como parte de LA.

First Prize International Competition.
The construction of a new terminal building in Warsaw
Airport challenged the creation of a new functional hub
fully integrated with the existing terminal under operation
at that time.
A modular structure based on the current one was
designed achieving a spatial coherence between both
terminal buildings.
The sense of continuity of both volumes is reinforced
by a modern façade system that wraps both terminal
buildings.
Some current members of luis vidal + architects were part
of LA’s design team.
