Everyone is welcome to our spiritual center. All are encouraged to worship with us and to be part of the parish community. We are nurtured spiritually to celebrate our faith journey in word and sacrament, and to share it with the community. We provide diversity and frequent prayer experiences for all cultures. Prayer Shawl Ministry
Nov. 5, 2013
The wonderful ladies from the “Prayer Shawl Ministry”, who have knitted and crocheted beautiful shawls for those in need, are going to have a
meeting on November 5th in the foyer of St. Roberts. They will meet
here at 1pm and go until 4pm. The ladies plans are to meet on the first
Tuesday of each month, thereafter.

han de punto y ganchillo hermosos chales para aquellos que lo necesitan, van a tener una reunión el 5 de noviembre en el vestíbulo del St.
Roberts. Se reunirán aquí a las 1pm e ir hasta las 4pm. Los planes de las

Memorial Luminaries
For ALL SOULS EVE
November 1st, 2013

On Friday evening, November 1st, we will be having a special
Mass for our deceased loved ones. After Mass, Father Joseph will
lead us in prayerful procession to pray for our faithfully departed.
The Confirmation students will be selling the Luminaries after
each Mass and you may also purchase them at the office during the
week of October 28th during office hours (9am-Noon).

El viernes, 1 de noviembre, tendremos una Misa especial para
nuestros seres queridos difuntos. Después de la misa, el Padre
Joseph nos llevará en procesión de oración para orar por nuestros
difuntos fielmente. Los estudiantes de Confirmación estarán vendiendo a las Luminarias después de cada Misa y también podrá
adquirir los Luminarias en la oficina durante la semana del 28 de
octubre durante horas de oficina (9 a mediodía).

Propagation of the Faith
Mission Sunday

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Now is a time of great transition for the men and women who serve
our Country in the United States Military. While many are home
with their families in the wake of troop withdrawals from Afghanistan, others remain on the front lines to face a scattered but determined enemy. Those still deployed continue to endure adversity,
sacrifice, and danger. Those back home confront a major life adjustment. With such hardships, they rely on Catholic Chaplains for
spiritual guidance and support. The Collection for the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA gives each of us the opportunity
to serve those who serve. With the funds raised from this national
collection, the AMS will be able to ensure that all Catholic men,
women, and families have the access to the sacraments, authentic
Catholic education, and the spiritual guidance of a Catholic chaplain,
wherever they go.
Thank you for your generosity to the first National Collection for the
Archdiocese for the Military Services. With no military or government financial assistance, the Archdiocese must rely wholly on the
generosity of the American catholic community to operate its many
programs and services. The support provided by you is truly a blessing.

Queridos Hermanos y Hermanas:
Ahora es un tiempo de gran transición para los hombres y mujeres
que sirven a nuestro país en el Ejército de Estados Unidos. Mientras
que muchos están en casa con sus familias a raíz de la retirada de
tropas de Afganistán, otros permanecen en la primera línea para
hacer frente a un enemigo disperso, pero decidida. Los que aún desplegado seguir soportando la adversidad, sacrificio, y el peligro. Los
vuelta a casa enfrentar un ajuste importante de la vida . Con tales
dificultades, confían en capellanes católicos de orientación y apoyo
espiritual.
La Colección de la Arquidiócesis para los Servicios Militares,
EE.UU. le da a cada uno de nosotros la oportunidad de servir a los
que sirven. Con los fondos recaudados de esta colección nacional, el
AMS será capaz de garantizar que todos los hombres católicos, las
mujeres y las familias tienen acceso a los sacramentos, la educación
católica auténtica, y la guía espiritual de un capellán católico, donde
quiera que vayan.
Gracias por su generosidad a la primera Colección Nacional de la

The Carmelite Sisters are hosting their Thirty-Fifth Annual Open
House on Sunday, November 3rd, between 10am and 4pm. The
Print Shop was completely remodeled and is now a “Digital” operation worth seeing. As in the past, Books, Christmas Cards, Matted Prints and other works of the sisters will be available. The day
will close at 4:00 with an evening prayer service in the Chapel.
The service will remember our beloved departed ones. For more
