Olive Wood Carvings from the Holy Lands
After Mass today check out the variety of olive wood
carvings that are on display at the front entrance to
the church. Many Holy Land Christians in the Bethlehem area rely on the income from the sale of their
wood carvings to take care of their families. Every
purchase helps. All support is appreciated.

All Souls Day
Monday, November 2 is all Souls Day. This is the day
we remember and pray for all the dead. This we will
do at the two Masses in English at 7:30 a.m. and
12:10 p.m. and the Spanish Mass at 7:00 p.m.
All Souls Envelopes
Envelope users have a special envelope for this.
Write on it the names of all to be remembered and
prayed for during the month of November. They will
be prayed for at all the Masses during the month.
Extra envelopes are available at the church exits.
Drop the envelope in the collection basket or mail it
to the parish office.
Día de los Fieles Difuntos
Lunes, el 2 de noviembre es el día de los fieles difuntos. Este día recordamos y oramos por los que han
muerto. Esto se hará en dos Misas en ingles a las 7:30
a.m. y 12:10 p.m. y en español a las 7:00 p.m.
Sobres para los Fieles Difuntos
Los que usan sobres tienen uno especial para esto. Escriben los nombres de todos sus difuntos y se oraran
por ellos durante el mes de noviembre. Se oraran por
ellos en todas las misas del mes. Hay sobres extra
junta las entradas de la Iglesia. Ponga los sobres en la
canasta de la colecta o mándelo a la oficina parroquial.
Book of Remembrance
This book is available during the month of November.
It is located near the statue of St. Joseph. Write in it
the names of loved ones who have died. They will be
remembered and prayed for at all the Masses this
month.

Este libro estará disponible durante el mes de noviembre. Esta colocado junta estatua de San José. Durante
el mes escriba los nombres de sus seres queridos que
han muerto. Serán recordados oraremos por ellos en todas las misas del mes.
Memorial Mass on November 19
All who have suffered a bereavement in the past
twelve months can remember their loved ones at a
special Memorial Mass on Thursday, November 19 at
7:00 p.m. All of our parishioners who died this year will
be remembered and prayed for at this Mass. The
Mass will begin with the reading of names and lighting candles in their memory. A Memorial Table on
which the photos of loved ones can be placed will
be available. All photos will be take home at the end
of the Mass. Please spread the word about this Mass
to those who are grieving and invite them.

Todos los que han sufrido una perdida en los últimos
12 meses pueden recordar a sus seres queridos en una
Misa especial, jueves, noviembre 19 a las 7:00 p.m.
Todos nuestros feligreses serán recordados y orearemos por ellos en esta Misa. La Misa comenzara con la

Pope Francis’ “The Joy of the Gospel” Parish Series
It’s not too late to join our six week series studying
the Holy Father’s Apostolic Exhortation which he issued to the Universal Church in November 2013. In
this document he outlines his vision for a missionary
Church and points out “new paths for the Church’s
journey in years to come”. Too busy to read or attend all six sessions? Just come when you can and
listen in or join the conversation with others at St.
Rose. The series continues over the next five consecutive Monday evenings from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in
the convent fireside room. This is a call to grow in
faith and to get ready for the Jubilee Year of
Mercy, beginning December 8th, 2015.

No es muy tarde para unirse a la serie de 6 semanas
para el estudio del Exhortación Apostólica del Santos
Padre, que realizo para la Iglesia Universal en Noviembre 2013. En este documento, da su visión misionera de la Iglesia y explica las “nuevas jornadas de la
Iglesia en los años que vienen”. ¿Está muy ocupado
para venir a las 6 sesiones? Venga a los que pueda
para conversar con otra gente de la parroquia sobre
este documento tan interesante. La serie continuará
en las próximas 5 semanas, los lunes de 7:00-8:30 p.m.

St. Elizabeth Seton Women’s Guild Fall FaireThe
Women’s Guild is hosting a Craft, White Elephant,
and Baked Goods Faire on Saturday, November 7
from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and on Sunday, November 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Seton Church in Rohnert Park. They are also
raffling several themed baskets and 2 handmade
quilts. The raffle drawings will be held on Sunday,
November 8 at the end of the Faire. You do not
need to be present to win. Tickets will be sold at all
Masses at St. Elizabeth’s beginning October 10 and
during the event. Bring your family and friends to
the Faire. There is something for everyone! Hope to

All Souls Masses
You are invited to take a small pilgrimage of mercy
this All Souls Day to our local Catholic Cemetery to
remember and pray for those who have died.
