Beatification Celebration Mass of Pope Paul VI
On Tuesday October 21st, Bishop Conlon will be at Montini
Catholic High School celebrating Mass in honor of the beatification of Pope Paul VI. The official beatification will
take place in Rome on Sunday, October 19th.
The Christian Brothers Religious Order was in the planning
phase of a new high school in Lombard in 1963, the same
year Pope Paul VI was elected to the Papacy. The new
school opened in 1966 and was named Montini Catholic
High School to honor the new Pope whose baptismal name
was Giovanni Battista Montini.
Please join Bishop Conlon and Montini Catholic High
School for Mass in the gym on Tuesday October 21st at
9:30am to celebrate this special occasion.
