First I need to thank those who gave to last years ACA
Archdiocesan campaign. Your personal generosity is greatly
appreciated and needed.
Every year our Church, The Roman Catholic Archdiocese
of Santa Fe, has an annual fundraiser to aid programs that benefit
the Catholic Churches throughout the Northern part of New
Mexico. This special fundraiser assists the Bishops Office, called
The Pastoral Center Offices, to help all the parishes and the parishioners in many areas of our faith life. The Annual Catholic
Appeal (ACA) is a capital Campaign meant to involve all Catholics
as par cipants in every ministerial ac vity throughout the Diocese. As par cipants in the funding of your Catholic Church Ministries throughout the Diocese others become spiritually connected to you as they learn, prac ce and journey in their Faith. You
become one of the reasons many children and adults learn about
their faith. Our Diocese is made up of many small Mission
Churches that cannot afford basic church materials that are needed to keep these Churches open. Your money will help keep
these small places open and help the Bishop send priests and
administrators to educate and help these poor Churches to
survive.
With your contribu on the Bishop is able to run
programs for underprivileged children, teenagers and adults.
These programs are catechism classes, adult educa on classes for
Catechism teachers and paren ng classes. There are retreat
programs for all ages and some mes these retreats bring in
na onally known speakers who do presenta ons in Spanish and
English.
Your contribu on to this Annual Catholic Appeal (ACA)
helps the Bishop’s office afford and run many programs that
benefit our St. Francis Xavier Church. The Pastoral Center Offices
are broken into a number of specialized services (offices) and
programs to assist and improve outreach to the parishes. A few
services we benefit from are the Liturgy and Cateche cal Offices.
The Office of the Tribunal is the service that handles all Church
Law issues. The common area of Church Law that effect people is
the annulment process. The Tribunal reviews and judges all
annulment cases and assists the parish priests and parishioners
through the annulment process. The Pastoral Center offices are
there for our use and assistance.
Please fill out an ACA pledge card that you can find in
the pew or entrance of the Church and mail it to the diocese or
place in the collec on basket in church for your contribu on. All
I ask is that you please make an effort and that would be
sufficient. If we could at the least have your commitment of
some amount from every parishioner we would be able to
consider repairing our Church roof with money we would receive
as a rebate if we exceed our quota. We received $3,765.00 as a
rebate from last years campaign and this year we are expected to
raise $8000.00 for the ACA. If we are unable to raise the
$8000.00, the remainder will come out of our opera ng budget
to make up the difference.

Cada año nuestra iglesia, la Archidiócesis Católica Romana de
Santa Fe, ene una recaudación anual de fondos para programas que benefician a las iglesias católicas a lo largo de la parte
norte de Nuevo México. Este evento especial ayuda a la oficina
del obispo, llamada las Oficinas del Centro Pastoral, para ayudar
a todas las parroquias y los feligreses en muchas áreas de
nuestra vida de fe. La Apelación Católica Anual (ACA) es la
campaña capital propuesta para involucrar a todos los católicos
para par cipar en cada ac vidad ministerial a través de la diócesis. Como par cipantes en la financiación de sus ministerios de
la iglesia católica a través de la diócesis otros serán conectados
espiritualmente a como aprenden, prac can y viaje en su fe.
Te conviertes en uno de los mo vos muchos niños y adultos
aprenden sobre su fe. Nuestra diócesis se compone de muchas
misiones pequeñas de la iglesia que básicamente no pueden
soportar los materiales necesarios para mantener estas iglesias
abiertas. Tu dinero ayudará a mantener estos pequeños lugares
abiertos y ayudar al obispo enviar sacerdotes y administradores
para educar y ayudar a estas iglesias pobres sobrevivir.
Con su contribución el obispo es capaz de ejecutar programas
para niños, adolescentes y adultos de escasos recursos. Estos
programas son clases de catecismo, clases de educación para
adultos, clases para profesores de catecismo para adultos y clases para padres. Existen programas de re ro para todas las edades y a veces estos re ros traen oradores nacionalmente conocidos que hacen presentaciones en inglés y español.
Su contribución a esta Apelación Católica Anual (ACA) ayuda
la oficina del obispado mantener y ejecutar muchos programas
que beneficien a la iglesia de San. Francisco Javier. Las Oficinas
del Centro Pastoral se dividen en un número de programas para
ayudar y mejorar la divulgación a las parroquias y servicios especializados (oficinas). Algunos servicios que nos beneficiamos son
las oficinas de liturgia y catequesis. La oficina del Tribunal es el
servicio que se encarga de todas las cues ones de ley de la iglesia. El área común de la ley de la iglesia que efectúan la gente es
el proceso de anulación. El Tribunal revisa y juzga los casos de
anulación y asiste a los párrocos y los feligreses a través del proceso de anulación. Las oficinas del Centro Pastoral están allí para
nuestro uso y asistencia.
Por favor llene la tarjeta de compromiso de la Apelación
Católica Anual (ACA) que se encuentra en el banco o la entrada
de la iglesia y envíelo por correo a la diócesis o en la canasta de
la colecta en la iglesia con su contribución. Lo único que pido es
que por favor haga un esfuerzo y eso sería suficiente. Si por lo
menos podemos tener su compromiso de cierta can dad de
cada parroquiano podríamos considerar reparar el techo de la
iglesia con dinero que recibiríamos como un reembolso si
superamos nuestra cuota. Hemos recibido $3,765.00 como una
rebaja de la campaña del año pasado y este año se espera que

somos incapaces de recaudar $8000,00, el resto saldrá de
