that the Bishop’s Annual Appeal helps to
support:

Vocations to the priesthood and
permanent deaconate,

The BAA also supports our Bishop in his work

REMINDERS:

Sponsor-Joyce Ricciardelli
St. Paul’s Sunday Choir will
practice Sunday mornings, 8:309:15am. All are welcome!
NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER
The National Day of Prayer is Thursday,
May 3. Why not take some time that day to
offer a prayer for our country?
Too often our society trains us to take refuge in
man-made riches. Yet, Thomas Merton once
wrote, “There is no poverty so great as that of
the prosperous.” Too many possessions can
leave us empty - always questing for more
things that do not really matter - while we
ignore Our Lord.
RCIA PARTY!
All those who have come into the Church in
the last few years are invited to an informal
get-together at the rectory with Father Ray on
Monday, May 7, at 6:30pm. Sponsors and
family members are also invited! RSVP to the
church office (384-3560).
THANK YOU
“Thank you” to the Hispanic Prayer Group and
others for their work in transplanting the shrubs
and bushes from the old church and planting
them here at St. Paul last Sunday (which was,
quite appropriately, the 40th anniversary of
Earth Day).
A DAILY PRAYER FROM
BLESSED MOTHER TERESA
Lord, renew my spirit
and draw my face into smiles of delight at the
richness of Your blessings.
Daily let my eyes smile at the care and
companionship of my family and community.
Daily let my heart smile at the joys and
sorrows that we share.
Daily let my mouth smile with laughter and
rejoicing in Your works.
Daily let my face give testimony to the
gladness You give me.
Thank You for this gift. Amen.

CORRESPONSABILIDAD
CATÓLICO REGRESA A TU CASA
Visite la paginá web at
catholicscomehome.org .
