A Meditation of Our Lady
She believed with total faith that the embryo in her womb,
created her: Jesus Christ.

Her singular sanctity and perfect faith was acknowledge by Saint
Elizabeth. Filled with Holy Spirit, and in a loud cry she proclaimed:
“Blessed are you among women. And why is this granted to me that the
mother of my Lord should come to me. For behold when the voice of your
greeting came to my ears, the babe in my womb leaped for joy. And
blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what
was spoken to her from the Lord.” (Luke 1: 42-46)

Zechariah was silenced by the power of God for his lack of faith
that his wife Elizabeth in her old age would to conceive John the Baptist.
Mary inspired by the Holy Spirit remained by her own will, silent. She the
Immaculate Conception and the Mother of God tells no one that Jesus is
in her womb, but with haste in heroic charity to care for her pregnant
kinswoman Elizabeth.

When Christ ordered the six purification vessels to be filled at the
Wedding Feast of Cana with water which he changed into wine, it was at
the request of his mother. Only the servants knew where the wine came
from and thus witnessed the miracles. Through Mary, we become true
servants of her Son and thirst for holiness. Through her intercession if
we give ourselves totally to her as did her Son, we will become empty
vessels. Then Jesus will because we are empty of self fill, us up to the
brim, overflowing with many special graces of sanctification through the
intercession of Mary.
She was a selfless spouse of Saint Joseph…How touching it is to
hear and ponder her words at the finding of her Son in the temple: “Son,
why have you treated us so? Behold your father and I have been looking
for you anxiously.”
She as a perfect and devoted wife, acknowledges the fatherhood
of her husband over Jesus and his anxiety for his lost Son. Mary has not
the slightest defect…She never once thought about her self---always she
was absorbed and united to His will. She could of said: “How anxiously—I
have been looking for you”…No, she is deeply concerned about the
suffering heart of Joseph and solicitous for him.
This selflessness and total gift of herself to her Son, the Most
Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart are totally united…On earth---no
greater sword “pierced her heart” than to see her Son’s love
rejected…and in its place, sin, rebellion, loss of heaven. She takes each
of her children to heart, knows them individually and completely. Her
love for them from Adam and Eve to the last human person created
before her Son’s Second Coming is the total and perfect love of the
Mother of God, the Mother of the Redeemer. She wants all her children
to be with her in heaven eternally enjoying the beatific vision of the Most
Holy Trinity.
Here and now---“the dragon who was angry with

Señora
Ella creyó con total fe que el embrión en su
vientre, la había creado: Jesucristo.
Su singular santidad y su perfecta fe fueron
reconocidas por Santa Isabel. Llena del Espíritu Santo y
en un fuerte llanto, proclamó: ¡Bendita tú entre las
mujeres. Y ¿Por qué se me ha dado esto a mí, que la
madre de mi Señor venga a mí? Porque he aquí, apenas
la voz de tu saludo llegó a mis oídos, la criatura saltó de
gozo en mi vientre. Y bienaventurada la que creyó que
tendrá cumplimiento lo que le fue dicho de parte del
Señor.” (Lucas 1: 42-45)
Ella, como esposa perfecta y devota, reconoce
la paternidad de su esposo sobre Jesús y su ansiedad
por su Hijo perdido. María no tiene ni el más pequeño
de los defectos. Ella nunca pensó en si misma--siempre fue absorbida y unida a Su voluntad. Ella
pudo haber dicho: “Que ansiosamente—te he
buscado”…No, ella está preocupada profundamente
del corazón sufriente de José y habla por él.
Este regalo total de si misma a su Hijo, el
Sagrado Corazón y la Inmaculada Concepción están
totalmente unidas…En la tierra—ninguna espada tan
grande “penetró su corazón” más que ver a el amor de
su Hijo rechazado…y en su lugar, el pecado, la
revelación, la perdida del cielo. Ella toma a cada uno
de sus hijos al corazón, los conoce individualmente y
completamente. Su amor por ellos desde Adán y Eva
hasta la última persona humana creada antes de la
Segunda Venida de su Hijo es el amor total y perfecto
de la Madre de Dios, la Madre del Redentor. Ella
quiere que todos sus hijos estén con ella en el cielo
eternamente disfrutando la visión beatifica de la
Santísima Trinidad.
